I picked up a camera in Amarillo, Texas fifteen years ago. I fell in love with all of it, the canyons, the wide open sky, epic sunsets, and a culture and community that got under my skin in the best way.

But central Illinois is actually home. I grew up here, and at seventeen I left wild and on fire to go live a bigger, louder life. I said yes to every open door . That decade and a half took me a lot of places and I met a lot of people. All of it shaped how I see and shoot love stories.

Five years ago I moved back. Turns out the place I couldn't wait to leave is the place that taught me the most about what I wanted my work to look like: honest, present, and alive.

Now I photograph weddings all over central Illinois, from the bluffs of Starved Rock to backyard ceremonies in the small towns I grew up around. Different landscape than Amarillo, but the same instinct. Chase the light, catch what's real, say yes to the moment in front of me.
