Inspiration from Client Relationships

The beauty of my trade is that I am inspired by such a wide variety of elements. One of my very favorite things to be inspired by is actually my clients. In my opinion, client relationships are essentially the life blood of any business. It is through good relationships that you get return customers.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about how I can create good relationships and serve others through photography. It is not always easy, but I try to get to know my clients and connect with them on a deeper level. By opening lines of communication, I get to meet people like Kali and her husband.

The first time I worked with Kali was through a model call. I was able to see right away that her heart was pure gold. At the time, Kali and her husband both owned business and talked about serving others in such a profound way. Conversations with them inspired me and sparked a yearning for service.

I know that the limited interaction I have with my clients gives me only a glimpse of their lives, but sometimes I can't help but feel like a sponge wanting to know more about the light I see in them. I believe that if you listen, you can admire things about others that you may not find in yourself.

Understanding, grace and admiration are always at the forefront of my work and my life. I intentionally try to look for the special things first. Photography has taught me to look harder and dig deeper for things not always seen on the surface. By digging deeper I am struck with inspiration at every turn and for that I truly love what I do!
