WEDDING DAY & PORTRAITS | RIVER FALLS | TEALA WARD PHOTOGRAPHY

Mother nature sure is a force to be reckoned with. Clara contacted me about photographing her wedding and said she wanted to do portraits beforehand in Palo Duro Canyon. We worked closely with their timeline and made sure we would be able to make it work. Boy was it worth it! Mother nature gave us such a variety of photos just dependent on which direction we were facing. Radiant sunshine filled the light blue sky in some directions and dark blustery clouds loomed in the near distance in others.

Luckily we were able to take advantage of the amazing weather and enjoy both the sunshine and the storms with no interference with wedding day festivities! Some wedding days are not so lucky and have an added element of rain or severe wind but there was definitely someone watching out for these two on their wedding day! The day continued with a breathtaking waterfront ceremony with an arch that was to die for. These two had so many fun and personalized touches throughout the day and I tried to capture as much as I could for them to always remember just how great everything turned out. Clara is from Canada and her husband is from the Texas panhandle. There were Canadian flags in the little pies they had made and southern flare that dripped from their elegant decorations. They did so well making their backgrounds and personalities shine as they came together as husband and wife.

This was a wedding day that was full of excitement. We went from location to location and the bride and groom did fantastic with every transition. I was thrilled to have so much beauty to work and hope these photos provide proof of how wonderful and magical this day was.
